Win a stay in Hotel Westport with SuperBreak
You could win a weekend away thanks to the SuperBreak “My Ireland” travel photography competition.
The short break holiday company are running a the competition to celebrate the best of Ireland, as chosen by local people.
The competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers. Entrants are invited to submit their photos of local scenes under the banner “My Ireland”. This can be an awesome natural landscape or a striking urban scene. The chosen photograph must be accompanied by a short description explaining why the image represents a favourite view of Ireland.
“Ireland is home to fantastic holiday destinations on the doorstep, showcasing some of the best scenery the world has to offer,” said Jacquie Fisher of SuperBreak.
“By launching our My Ireland photography competition, we hope to celebrate the very best views in the country as chosen by local people. We can’t wait to see the entries and wish everyone taking part the best of luck.”
Entries are open until 12 October and will be judged by influential Irish photographer Patrick Donald, renowned travel journalist Tom Sweeney, and SuperBreak’s Sarah Laughran.
A shortlist of five photographs will then be selected by the judges to go head-to-head in a public vote on the SuperBreak Ireland Facebook page. The lucky winner will receive a luxury two night staycation for two people staying at the 4 Star Hotel Westport, plus tickets for Westport House. Runners-up prizes include Dublin Passes for access to a variety of attractions, transport and special shopping offers and a €100 gift voucher from “My Ireland” sponsor, Giles Norman.
