Stonewell Cider
Since the 16th century, the Old Stone Well has stood on the cliffs of the mystical Nohoval Cove in Cork. Since 2010, Daniel and Geraldine Emerson have been using this stone well to brew delicious artisan cider that is free from artificial additives. Apples are sourced locally, from apple growers in Tipperary, Cork, Waterford and Kilkenny.
Five varieties are used to make these carefully created blends, including cider apples which have the required tannins to give depth of flavour. The company’s 3 artisan ciders are now widely available across Ireland and in select locations in Italy, France & Spain.
