See The Greatest Musicians as Never Before at New Exhibition ‘Ruthless’

Renowed Irish photographer Ruth Medjber’s new exhibition Ruthless: A Decade of Live Music Photography is coming to Fumbally Exchange, Dame Lane, Dublin 2.

From November 23 – December 2, the venue will be showcasing the live work of the NME, Rolling Stone and Hot Press photographer. Having covered some of the greatest musical performances in Ireland over the last 10 years, Medjber has taken live shots of international stars like Metallica, LCD Soundsystem, Jay Z, Grace Jones, Leonard Cohen and Dua Lipa, as well as homegrown heroes like Le Galaxie, All Tvvins, Lisa Hannigan and many more.

This is the first solo exhibition from Medjber, with organisers calling it a debut not to be missed and an opportunity to pick up unique artwork from some of the best gigs Ireland has ever hosted. It will also be the first time the Dublin born photographer exhibits work from her recent European tour with legendary Canadian act Arcade Fire.

The exhibition will run from Monday to Saturday 10am – 8pm and Sunday 10am – 6pm.  As well as being free to attend, Medjber will host a series of accompanying music photography workshops and Q&A sessions. She will also meet with the Women’s Camera Club (a collective that always welcomes new members). Medjber established the WWC earlier this year in a bid to encourage and support female photographers, so that one day we might achieve a gender balance in the field.

Medjber has set up a fundit page for people to contribute to the exhibition. If people follow the link and purchase a print before the exhibition, they will get it at a reduced price.
