Movies to be screened over the four days include classics like The Third Man – featuring Orson Welles as the legendary Harry Lime, Mary Poppins, The Karate Kid, biopic Pollock and animated features Kung Fu PandaPersepolis and The Iron Giant. There will also be a host of documentaries such as Wim Wenders’ Pope Francis: A Man of His Word, Albatross, Bottle Shock, Iron Men and The Destruction of Memory.

At the festival, there will be plenty of kids workshops – focusing on topics like smartphone filmmaking and claymation, a lecture on VR documentary making, post screening discussions, various short programmes and special guests. In regards the latter, Paul Brannigan (Sunshine on Leith, The Angels Share, Under the Skin)  will attend the festival to take part in a Q&A session.
