Primal Scream Announce Dublin and Belfast Shows

Following a headline show at Dun Laoghaire Pier last Sunday and the release of their best of compilation record Maximum Rock ‘N’ Roll, Primal Scream have confirmed shows in Dublin and Belfast this December.

Over the past three and a half decades, Primal Scream have embraced everything from psychedelic pop to degenerate rock’n’roll; euphoric rave to industrial gloom. They broke through to the mainstream in 1991 with the era-defining hedonism of LP Screamadelica and continued their reign as alt rock-dance giants with later releases like Vanishing Point and XTRMNTR.

Maximum Rock ‘N’ Roll: The Singles is described as a celebration of a vital catalogue of songs from a band who have always pushed the boundaries of their sound. Now fans will get a one-off chance to see them play songs from an incredible career spanning 35 years at The Olympia Theatre on December 9 and The Ulster Hall on December 10.

Tickets for The Olympia Theatre gig cost from €35.50 including booking and restoration fees. They go on sale this Friday, June 7 at 9am.
