New Ryanair Flight from Toulouse to Dublin for Winter 2019
Ryanair have announced that a new flight from French city Toulouse to Dublin will launch at the end of October.
The new service will operate four times a week. Tourism Ireland have welcomed the news, stating it will help boost tourism from the important French market during off-season months.
Niall Gibbons, CEO of the marketing body, said in a statement: “A key focus for Tourism Ireland is to grow business in the off-peak and shoulder seasons. So this announcement by Ryanair is really good news.”
“We already work closely with Ryanair. We look forward to co-operating with them to maximise the promotion of this flight from Toulouse to Dublin Airport, to drive business in the off-peak months.”
France is one of the top four markets for tourism to Ireland. 2018 saw more French visitors to the Emerald Isle than ever.
Niall Gibbons continued: “2018 was the best year ever for tourism from France to Ireland. We welcomed about 564,800 French arrivals. For 2019, we are rolling out an extensive programme of promotional activity in France to build on that success.”
“In particular, we are trying to encourage more French holidaymakers to explore our regions and less-visited attractions.”
