Le Boom To Play The Olympia Theatre This October

Irish electronic-pop duo Le Boom, comprising of Christy Leech and Aimie Mallon, have announced their biggest headline show to date at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin on October 11, 2019.

The new date will follow a summer of festival touring, taking in stops at Thousand Island, London on May 3 and further dates at Live At Leeds, Hit The North and more.  Le Boom, along with fellow Dubliner Æ MAK (Aoife McCann) have also shared the video for their new BBC Radio 1-supported collaborative single ‘Dancing Bug’, showing the trio gliding through the streets of Stoneybatter, Dublin City.

The single is the latest cut from Le Boom’s forthcoming EP All Of My Highs. It is set for release May 3, 2019.

2018 signposted an exciting milestone for Le Boom. It was a year that found the pair performing across some of Europe’s largest festivals, including Primavera, Longitude, Body & Soul and Electric Picnic, whilst also taking their eccentric live show to Reykjavik, New York and Bilbao.

The year also found the duo selling out an Irish headline tour. This included a stop at Dublin’s 1000-capacity District 8 venue. At the same time, they achieved playlist success on Spotify, attaining spots on ’New Music Friday’ and ‘Hot New Bands’ playlists amongst others.

Tickets for the Olympia Theatre show cost from €25. They go on sale Friday, April 26 at 10am from Ticketmaster.
