Copper Face Jacks: The Musical Will Return

Copper Face Jacks: The Musical is back with a bang as the original and hilarious cast will return to the Olympia Theatre from July 10 – August 3 after revelling in standing ovations and rave reviews all last summer.

From the creator of Ross O’Carroll Kelly – Paul Howard, Copper Face Jacks is a love story set on the eve of a Dublin v Kerry All Ireland Final. A sweet Kerry girl ends up falling head over her flat-shoes for the Captain of the Dublin football team – Gino Wyldes. Can love conquer all as these two young sweethearts face massive cultural and linguistic hurdles on their road to happiness/Croker?

Johnny Ward, who is currently wowing audiences on Dancing With The Stars, returns as Gino Wildes. He is reunited with Roseanna Purcell (Red Rock, Fair City) as Noeleen Níc Gearailt and Michele McGrath (The Tudors, Damo and Ivor) as Gretchen Ackerman.

Packed full of craic, huge laughs, Dubs, lots of shifting and a stellar cast, organisers say Copper Face Jacks is set to be the smash hit of the summer all over again. Tickets are from €26 (plus booking fee and €1 restoration levy) for the comedy and are on sale now at
