Camille O’Sullivan Announces Olympia Theatre Date
Irish musician vocalist and actor Camille O’Sullivan has announced her return to Dublin venue The Olympia Theatre with her band Saturday, October 19.
O’Sullivan enjoys a formidable international reputation for her interpretations of the songs of Nick Cave, Jacques Brel, Tom Waits, David Bowie, Radiohead and more. One of the original cast members of the Olivier Award-winning La Soiree, the singer has stunned audiences around the world with her sell-out performances including Sydney Opera House, London’s Royal Festival Hall, The Roundhouse and a show-stealing appearance on Later with Jools Holland.
Recently she sold out her 10 night run at Sydney Festival where she won a prestigious Australian Helpmann Award for Best Performance. She also toured with David Lynch, duetted with Tim Robbins, Tood Rundgren and Shane McGowan and acted in Stephen Frears’ film Mrs Henderson Presents. She also played Countess Constance Markievicz in RTE series Rebellion.
Tickets for her Olympia Theatre show go on sale this Friday, 26 April at 9am.
