Popular French Travel Blogger Says ‘bonjour’ to Ireland

One of the most famed travel influencers in France, Bruno Maltor, has been visiting Ireland this week – as a guest of Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland and B&B Ireland.

Maltor has around 417,000 followers on social platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube) and his blog, Votre Tour du Monde, has around 2 million unique visitors each month. He’s been sharing photos with his followers throughout his visit here and capturing content for his upcoming YouTube video and blog all about Ireland.

During his time here, Maltor visited Wicklow, Connemara and Dublin – including places like Powerscourt Gardens, Glendalough, Lough Tay, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and Trinity College.

“Tourism Ireland was delighted to invite travel influencer Bruno Maltor to Ireland,” said Monica MacLaverty, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Southern Europe, in a statement. “He has a really strong online presence so his visit is an excellent opportunity to highlight our spectacular scenery and some of the many things to see and do in Ireland for French holidaymakers. His posts and photos will be seen and shared by his online fans – inspiring them to come and sample Ireland for themselves.

“Tourism Ireland undertakes a busy publicity programme around the world each year, to raise the profile of the island of Ireland. Visits by travel journalists and social influencers like Bruno are a key element of that programme.”

Maltor is the latest high-profile guest of Tourism Ireland following Chinese TV star Ren Zhong’s visit.
